Please ask a receptionist for details of the services we offer:
Some services will be carried out by a doctor, while others will be with a nurse. Some of the clinics are run by both nurse and doctor together. Procedures such as stitch removal and dressings etc. can be arranged with one of the Nurses. Please ask at reception.
Patients are entitled to have cardiovascular risk screening under the NHS every 5 years from the age of 40. This comprises a blood test followed by an appointment with a GP or practice nurse once the results are available. We will calculate your level of health risk and recommend changes to reduce that risk.
Our Practice Nurses and Health Care Assistant offer annual health assessments for patients over 75 years.
We only charge for services not covered by the NHS and follow the British Medical Association recommendations. A list of private charges is available at reception. These include private certificates, insurance claim forms, certain medical examinations and the completion of passport applications.
Fresh specimens can be left in the specimen box on the reception desk before 11.30 a.m for delivery to the laboratory. If telephoning about the result, please do so after 2:00pm at least 4 working days after the test.
