Important Update Meningitis B

If you were born before 2015, you are unlikely to have been vaccinated against the MenB strain of meningitis. The MenB vaccine is currently offered on the NHS as part of the routine childhood immunisation programme for children up to the age of 2. After this age, the vaccine is only available privately.

At present, we are not offering the MenB vaccine at the surgery.

There are currently no catch-up or additional vaccination programmes available for older children or adults.
